- Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector Grade II: Must have passed +2 with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Must also have studied Tamil as a language subject at SSLC level and completed the prescribed 2-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector course from a recognized institution.
- Counselling Testing Centre Counsellor: Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology or Human Development, or Diploma in Nursing with the required experience. Candidates from the HIV/AIDS-affected community may have other specified eligibility conditions.
- Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health Counsellor: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology or Home Science, with 1–2 years of relevant work experience and basic computer skills.
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM): Must have passed Higher Secondary (+2) and completed the prescribed 2-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Female) / Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery training course. Registration with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council is also required.
