South Zone Cultural Centre (SZCC), Thanjavur, an Autonomous Organisation under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has invited applications for various vacancies through Direct Recruitment, Deputation and Short-Term Contract. A total of 25 vacancies are available across posts including Programme Executive, Assistant, Assistant Engineer, Documentation Officer, Junior Hindi Translator, Assistant Programme Executive, Exhibition Assistant, Junior Assistant and Stenographer Grade-II. Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

1. Deputy Director (Admin & Accounts): For the Deputy Director (Admin & Accounts) post, candidates should be officers working in Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies or Universities. The candidate should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or have the prescribed regular service in the specified pay scales. The candidate should also have knowledge of Accounts and Administrative matters.

2. Deputy Director (Programme): For the Deputy Director (Programme) post, candidates applying through deputation should be officers from Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies or Universities having experience in Arts & Culture. The prescribed eligibility includes holding an analogous post or the required regular service in the specified pay scales. For Short-Term Contract, candidates should be cultural personalities in the field of Art & Culture with at least 10 years of standing, with experience in planning, projecting and organizing national/state-level cultural programmes such as festivals, workshops, seminars and exhibitions in music, dance, theatre, visual art or folk arts. They should also possess a Bachelor’s Degree.

3. Assistant Director (Programme): For the Assistant Director (Programme) post, deputation candidates should be officers from Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies or Universities with experience in Arts & Culture and should satisfy the prescribed regular-service/pay-scale conditions. For Short-Term Contract, candidates should be cultural personalities in Art & Culture with at least 8 years of standing, having experience in planning, projecting and organizing national/state-level cultural programmes in areas such as music, dance, theatre, visual art and folk arts. A Bachelor’s Degree is also required.

4. Assistant Director (Admin & Accounts): For the Assistant Director (Admin & Accounts) post, candidates applying through deputation should be officers from Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies or Universities. Candidates must satisfy one of the prescribed regular-service conditions in the specified pay scales. The notification also requires knowledge of Accounts and Administrative matters.

5. Stenographer Grade-I: For the Stenographer Grade-I post, candidates applying through deputation should be officers from Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies or Universities.
